    Moeym,
    Your self portrait is really beautiful! I am just beginning the portraiture unit and I am really apprehensive.
    I love your blog. It is inspiring to read your thoughts as you progress and somewhat tames so of the negative thoughts that I often have.

    Thank you so much for your comment! It’s nice to know that the blog makes a difference to you as you embark on your own drawing journey! I know how you feel about the apprehensiveness. I still feel that way sometimes, and there have been times that the only reason I’ve shown up at the table at all is because I absolutely forced myself to. But sometimes those sessions become the most rewarding ones because it feels like a big achievement to overcome the anxiety and produce something in spite of it! :)

    I’ll continue to follow your work at drawpj, and I look forward to seeing your self-portrait!
